November 1st and 2nd - Arsenal's excellent start to the season continued with a two-nil win away to Burnley. Viktor Gyokeres and Declan Rice scored in the first half as Mikel Arteta's side went seven points clear on Saturday night. Their defensive record is reminiscent of the classic George Graham sides - they've only conceded three goals in ten games so far. Man City beat Bournemouth three-one on Sunday to move into second place once again - the gap at the top was cut to six points as Erling Haaland notched another double, bringing his total to thirteen for the season. Liverpool left a horrible October behind - they beat Aston Villa two-nil at Anfield. Emi Martinez gifted Mo Salah the opener in first half injury time before Ryan Gravenberch added the second. Chelsea moved into the top five with a one-nil win at Tottenham - Joao Pedro scored the only goal of the game in the first half. Jean-Philippe Mateta scored his sixth goal of the season in Crystal Palace's two-nil win at home to Brentford. Danny Welbeck also scored his sixth of the season - Brighton's three-nil win at home to Leeds United moved them into the top half of the table. Nottingham Forest and Man United shared the points after an entertaining two-all draw at the City Ground. Casemiro opened the scoring in the first half - Forest then went ahead with two quick goals from Morgan Gibbs-White and Nicolo Savona before Amad Diallo earned a point for United with a late equaliser. Wolves' awful run continued - they crashed to a three-nil defeat at Fulham. Wolves remain the only team without a win in the division. Vitor Pereira was duly shown the door on Sunday after that result. There was better news for fellow strugglers West Ham who picked up just their second win of the season - they beat Newcastle three-one at the London Stadium. Sean O'Mairtin tops the early leaderboard for November - he picked up 63 points this weekend. Gareth Pierpoint is second, five points off the lead. Eamonn Gallagher and Paul Foley share third place with Greg Donaghy completing the top five - full details below: |

November 8th and 9th - Arsenal's winning run came to an end following a two-all draw at Sunderland. Mikel Arteta's side looked to be heading for another three points until Brian Brobby equalised for the hosts four minutes into injury time. Man City lead the chasing pack. They're just four points behind the leaders after a three-nil win over Liverpool at the Etihad. Erling Haaland missed a penalty before opening the scoring shortly after. A Virgal van Dijk header was controversially chalked off and once Nico added a second just before half time it was game over for the champions. Jeremy Doku added a third as City celebrated Pep Guardiola's 1000th game as a manager. Chelsea are third in table - a change of manager didn't mean a change of fortune for Wolves as three second half goals sent the Stamford Bridge side up to third in the table. Spurs are fifth in the table - Richarlison was guilty of celebrating too soon again - his 90th minute goal looked like giving them a winner against Man United but Mathias de Ligt rescued a point for the visitors soon after. Only two points separate Spurs in fifth from Brighton in eleventh. Aston Villa are sixth after a four-nil win at home to Bournemouth. The Seagulls / Eagles derby finished scoreless at Selhurst Park between Crystal Palace and Brighton. Brentford picked up another useful three points after a three-one at home to Newcastle. Eddie Howe's side are fourteenth in the table after a fifth league defeat of the season. Elsewhere, Everton had three goals disallowed but still beat Fulham two-nil. At the bottom, two of the teams in the bottom three picked up badly needed wins. West Ham beat Burnley three-two and Nottingham Forest beat Leeds three-one. As well as leading the overall competition, Chris Keohan now leads the November competition. A score of 49 points this week leaves him two points clear of Eamonn Gallagher in second place. Sean Cafferkey has climbed to third with Shane Horan now in fourth place for the month - full details below: |

November 22nd and 23rd - A four-one win in the North London Derby sent Arsenal six points clear at the top of the table. Eberechi Eze was the hero in red as the Gunners completed an almost perfect weekend for their title ambitions. Man City slipped to their fourth defeat of the season - Harvey Barnes scored both goals as Eddie Howe recorded his first league managerial victory over Pep Guardiola. Newcastle's win was only their fourth of the season. Chelsea are second in the table - they had a straightforward two-nil win at Burnley to open the weekend's games. Aston Villa came from behind to beat Leeds on Sunday - Morgan Rogers scored both goals as Unai Emery's side climbed into the top four. It seems a long time since their really poor opening to the season. Liverpool's title defence is in tatters. Last season's home defeat to Nottingham Forest was a blip and their only defeat until late in the season. Forest's three-nil win at Anfield was the champions sixth league defeat of the season. Arne Slot's side are closer to the relegation zone than they are to the leaders. At the bottom, there was no new manager bounce for Wolves - Rob Edwards' side lost two-nil at home to Crystal Palace. West Ham let a two goal lead slip at Bournemouth but the point they earned from a two-all draw was enough to take them out of the bottom three. Elsewhere, Brighton came from behind to beat Brentford two-one at the Amex. Fulham climbed away from the bottom three after a one-nil win at home to Sunderland. Sean Cafferkey is the new leader in the November competition - a score of 40 points sees him open up a three point lead over previous leader Chris Keohan. An excellent score of 55 points sees Joseph Kavanagh shoot up the standings to third place. Con McSweeney, Gareth Pierpoint, Jonathan Fox and Sean Mairtin share fourth place, just eight points off the lead: |

November 29th and 30th - Arsenal's lead at the top was cut to five points after they failed to find a win against ten-man Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Moises Caicedo was sent off before Trevoh Chalobah headed the hosts in front. Mikel Merino equalised for the leaders but they couldn't find a winner - that's just one win from the last three for Mikel Arteta's side. Second placed Man City needed an injury time winner from Phil Foden to see off the challenge of Leeds United. Foden had earlier opened the scoring before Guardiol made it two. Goals from Calvert-Lewin and Nmecha looked like earning Leeds an unlikely point before Foden's late intervention. Another win for Aston Villa saw them consolidate their top four position. Boubakar Kamara scored the only goal as Villa beat rock bottom Wolves at Villa Park on Sunday. No sign of the new manager bounce for Rob Edwards' side yet as they remain winless and nine points from safety. Man United came from behind to win at Crystal Palace. Jean-Philippe Mateta's twice taken penalty put the hosts ahead before half-time before goals from Zirkzee and Mount gave Yanited another three points. There was also a win for Liverpool in London too - Aleksander Isak and Cody Gakpo scored second half goals for the much-maligned champions who are only three points off the top four despite their atrocious run of form. Newcastle's first away win of the season came following a four-one win at the Benny Hill Stadium as Everton were well beaten. Malick Thiaw scored twice for the visitors. There was another home defeat for Tottenham on Saturday night - Fulham scored twice in the first six minutes to win that one. Thomas Frank's side have only won once in seven at home this season. Sunderland are sixth in the table after coming from two down to beat Bournemouth three-two on Saturday - Brian Brobbey scored the winner in that one. Keith Andrews picked up another win as his Brentford side beat Burnley three-one. Igor Thiago scored two more to bring his tally for the season to eleven league goals. A score of 50 points this weekend saw Jim Foley climb from twelfth to first and win the monthly competition for November. His victory margin was just two points from Sean Cafferkey. Chris Keohan finished third with the top five for the month completed by Gary Fitzpatrick and Javier Suarez - full details below: |
