August 22nd - The bonus choice submissions always make for interesting reading. 96 people signed up and 91 went for Erling Haaland in the goal scorer category. Next best was the seven season wonder, Mo Salah, with 56 picks. Ollie Watkins had a good Euros and 43 people picked him as a result. Cole Palmer was the top scorer in the Premier League last season and 31 of you are hoping he'll repeat that feat as long as he eases off eating the oul crayons. Alexander Isak was the only other player to be selected more than 20 times. Coming top of the sack race selections was Nuno Espirito Santo of Nottingham Forest. He was selected by 22 of you. The experts on here don't see a good season ahead for the promoted teams - 14 people went for Russell Martin of Southampton with 12 going for Steve Cooper. August 14th - 2024-2025 will be our 20th season on the internet. We survived Covid, Hicks and Gillett and Roy Hodgson, no mean feat. I've been looking at some of the seasons gone by and put together some stats which might interest one or two of you! As well as the monthly and overall winners, I've looked at the number of seasons that people have taken part in the competitions - an interesting read! We have five ever presents who have been with us since we went live in 2005-2006, carriage clocks in the post!
