September 1st - Liverpool joined Man City in making it three wins from three when they beat Man Urinals three-nil at Old Trafford. The signs were ominous for Erik Ten Hag's side when Trent Alexander-Arnold had an early goal disallowed. Luis Diaz scored twice before half time with Mo Salah adding another in the second half to complete the win. Arne Slot's side still haven't conceded a goal this season - his Dutch compatriot in the opposite dugout is looking at two defeats from three so far.

Newcastle's unbeaten start to the season continued - they beat Tottenham two-one thanks to goals from Harvey Barnes and Alexander Isak. That win puts Newcastle into the top five on seven points alongside Arsenal and Brighton.

You get the feeling watching Chelsea that they'll be a model of inconsistency this season. After last week's demolition of Wolves, they were held one-all at home by Crystal Palace. Despite taking the lead through Nicolas Jackson's goal they had to settle for a point when Eberechi equalised early in the second half.
