May 2nd to 5th - Both Arsenal and Man City recorded comfortable home victories to leave the top of the table unchanged two weeks from the end of the season. Arsenal kicked off proceedings at home to Bournemouth. They had to wait until just before half time to open the scoring through Buakyo Saka's penalty. Leandro Trossard and Declan Rice then scored in the second half to seal a three-nil win. Erling Haaland scored four times as Man City hammered Wolves five-one at the Etihad. City remain two points behind Arsenal with that all-important game in hand. The Gunners' superior goal difference means any slip by City would leave Mikel Arteta's side as favourites to win their first title in twnety years.

Liverpool clinched third place during the week and recorded a four-two win at home to a fading Tottenham side. Goals from Salah, Robertson, Gakpo and Elliott had Jurgen Klopp's side in cruise control before late goals from Richarlison and Son. Spurs have now lost four games in a row and trail Aston Villa by seven points with just three games to go. Unai Emery's side lost to a late goal at Brighton but still look odds on to take the final Champions League spot.

A win for Nottingham Forest at Sheffield United gave them a three point cushion from the bottom three. Luton Town drew one-all at home to Everton and have just two games left to rescue themselves. Burnley's late season revival came crashing to a halt when they lost four-one at home to Newcastle. They're five points from safety with just two games to go.

Elsewhere, Chelsea moved up to seventh in the table - they won two London derbies this week - two-nil at home to Spurs and five-nil at home to West Ham. Brentford and Fulham finished scoreless in another London Derby.

The final monthly leaderboard of the season sees both Kieran Killeen and Sean O'Mairtin off to the proverbial flier. They both have 65 points, seven points clear of Con McSweeney in third place. Four people then share fourth place on 55 points - Darragh Kenny, Eamon Fox, James Keville and Rob Gaffney - full details below:

May 11th and 12th - The title race will go down to the final day as Man City and Arsenal both scored wins on the road. Man City scored four without reply at Fulham to go top for twenty-four hours. Leandro Trossard scored the only goal at Old Trafford on Sunday as the Gunners regained top spot. Pep Guardiola's side travel to Tottenham on Tuesday night knowing a win there will put them top of the table with West Ham to visit the Etihad on Sunday.

Matters at the bottom of the table look decided ahead of the final day. Burnley's relegation was confirmed after defeat at Tottenham. Luton are as good as gone too after a three-one defeat at West Ham. Both Burnley and Luton lead in their games but any hope was firmly removed after their opponents turned the games around. Only a twelve goal swing on the final day would prevent the three promoted clubs being relegated after just one season back in the top division.

A win for Aston Villa at home to Liverpool on Monday night would confirm Champions League football for Unai Emery's side next season. Chelsea and Newcastle still harbour hopes of European football next season. Chelsea won three-two at Nottingham Forest but Newcastle will be disappointed having dropped points at home to Brighton.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace made it two wins in a week - they followed up their four-nil win at home to Man United on Monday with a three-one win at Wolves. Everton beat relegated Sheffield United one-nil at Goodison Park. All the goals came late on as Bournemouth lost two-one at home to Brentford.

A 45 point haul since the last update sees Con McSweeney top the May leaderboard. He has a three point lead over Rob Gaffney and Sean O'Mairtin who share second place. Niall Carroll has climbed to fourth place, six points off the lead. Eamon Fox and Patrick Mifsud share fifth place - full details below:

May 19th - Two wins in the final week gave Man City their fourth title in a row, their sixth in seven season. Wins against Tottenham and West Ham elevated Pep Guardiola's side alongside sporting greats such as Lance Armstrong and Ben Johnson in the history books. Arsenal had to settle for second place after a run of games in 2024 where they only lost once. Liverpool and Aston Villa will compete in the Champions League group stages. Jurgen Klopp's long goodbye from Anfield concluded with a two-nil at home to Wolves. Aston Villa had sealed fourth spot earlier in the week ahead of the ultimate final day performance, losing five-nil at Crystal Palace.

At the bottom, the three relegated teams all departed with defeats. Chris Wood scored twice against his former side as Nottingham Forest beat Burnley two-one. Tottenham's three-nil win at Sheffield United means Ange Postecoglou's side with play in the Europa League next season despite seemingly winning the league last September. Luton lost four-two at home to Fulham to complete their campaign.

Chelsea's strong finish to the season saw them secure a top six finish ahead of Newcastle and Man United who both finish the season on 60 points. Newcastle won at Brentford on the final day and Man United won two-nil at Brighton in Roberto de Zerbi's final game in charge.

Con McSweeney won the final monthly competition with a score of 172 points. Niall Carroll finished in second place, eleven points behind the leader. Patrick Mifsud and Rob Gaffney finished two points further back in fourth place with Caroline Carroll completing the top five for May:
