August 7th - The bonus point choices for the new season are always an interesting read. Three players stood out in the Golden Boot category - Mo Salah was picked by 71 of the 79 people taking part. The Spurs forward line came next - Harry Kane got 53 votes and Son Heung-min got 24 points. No-one else got more than four votes! Erling Haaland was by far and away the most popular choice on the New Kids on the Block 102 category - he got 54 votes. Gabriel Jesus scored 14 while Darwin Nunez got a mere 9 votes - most of those coming after his goal in the Community Shield! In the Sack Race, the P45 has been drafted for Frank Lampard as he got 22 votes. Jessie Marsch of Leeds got 14 votes (but three points on the opening day). Ralph Hassenhuttl of Southampton was the choice of 12 of you. Fulham's Marco Silva was next best with 9 votes. Time will tell.... |
